Chad specializes in tenant, seller, and buyer representation. He focuses on retail properties and land acquisitions for development. His strong emphasis on retail properties and retail tenants, along with extensive market knowledge, has made him one of the most active, effective, and trusted in the state of Minnesota. Chad has done a number of initial market roll-outs for national retailers coming into Minnesota.
With over 17 years of experience in tenant representation, project leasing, user sales, and site selection, Chad has gained a complete understanding of the real estate process from all angles. Chad has been recognized many times as a top commercial real estate broker, and he was given CoStar Group’s Top Retail Leasing Broker award for performing at the industry’s highest level through achieving remarkable sales and leasing success. His expert knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and outstanding ability to
seek out and create opportunities have allowed him to completer over 350 transactions totaling over 6.3 million square feet.
A graduate of St. Cloud State in Real Estate & Marketing, Chad began work at Welsh Companies in the industrial division, where he worked for 5 years. He went on to work at Park Midwest Commercial Real Estate Company, in order to learn the retail business from Jamie Cohen and Doug Sailor. After two years with Park Midwest, Chad started the brokerage division within Upland Real Estate Group, where he is currently an Associate Vice President.
Outside of real estate, Chad is an active community member, coaching youth baseball and football teams. Chad is married with three children.
