Kirby J. Pieri

Kirby Pieri focuses on tenant and landlord representation for retail and service-oriented commercial real estate throughout Minnesota and select Midwest markets. He works with retailers and property owners to structure leases, evaluate site opportunities, and position assets within competitive retail markets.

Kirby earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in May 2024, majoring in Real Estate Studies with a minor in Philosophy. He began his academic career at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Dakota County Technical College. A former collegiate baseball player, Kirby competed at all three institutions, including during St. Thomas’s inaugural Division I season.

While at St. Thomas, Kirby was selected to serve on the prestigious Damus Board. In addition, he represented the university in the NAIOP Challenge, competing against top Midwest real estate programs. His primary focus was financial modeling and development analysis, where he evaluated real estate feasibility and supported development-oriented decision-making.

Since entering the brokerage industry, Kirby has represented both tenants and landlords across a range of retail assignments, including convenience retail and gas station sites, as well as multi-tenant and service-oriented retail properties. He is known for his analytical underwriting, market knowledge, and competitive approach to creating leasing momentum for clients.

Kirby is an active member of the commercial real estate community, participating in NAIOP Developing Leaders, the Retail Brokers Network, and other industry organizations. As a former athlete, he brings discipline, persistence, and a results-driven mindset to every assignment.
